Spotlight on Coastal Corruption v. Steve Kensey et al. (2016)

Reason for Suing: Spotlight on Coastal Corruption (SOCC) sued five members of the California Coastal Commission after the Los Angeles Times reported that they had been holding private meetings with developers having business before the Commission without disclosing those meetings to the public.

Outcome: SOCC won in the trial court, and each of the commissioners was personally ordered to pay fines.  They filed an appeal, which is still pending.
