Small Business Litigation

Small businesses make up the majority of Briggs Law Corporation’s clientele, and on average about one-third of our workload is for them. We handle a wide variety of their matters: setting up their businesses, handling employee relations (e.g., wage/hour, discrimination, OSHA claims), vendor and customer contracts, landlord-tenant negotiations, dealing with government regulators, selling their businesses, and, when necessary, litigation.

Because small businesses are often family-owned, Briggs Law Corporation also represents owners on non-business matters such as basic estate planning and asset protection. (We do not handle bankruptcies, divorces, or special-needs trusts.)
